2010 Novel Selections

This year's novels are three new books. Students will choose one of the three options to complete the novel unit. All three choices are manageable reads of "survival" in three different "worlds."

Shadows on the Koyukuk by Sydney Huntington

Relates the life story of the author's adventure filled life living in Alaska's Interior.


The Glass Castle

Author, Jeannette Walls, relates her story of a challenging childhood and life.




Mole People

Journalist, Jennifer Toth, relates the stories of those who live life in the tunnels beneath New York City.
